Hi, friends,

Yesterday the orange menace issued an EO ("Ensuring Accountability for All Agencies") that removes any oversight over the office of the president, and declares that the president is the only authority and interpreter of the law. It invalidates SCOTUS and Congress. Of course this isn't legal, because it's only an EO, but if no one stands up for us and pushes back it goes into effect by default.

This is the moment of no turning back. When Trump gets to dictate that any person or organization funded by government money has to be loyal to him, and he is the law, we're cooked. Call every official you can think of right now and demand that they push back against the enablement EO. If you are close enough to go to your Rep or Senator's office, show up there.

​Sign up for the General Strike and get everyone you can to sign up for it. (People who aren't sure because they don't like that it looks a little anarchist? You're purity testing yourself into inaction. There is no viable action you're going to be 100% aligned with and if you do nothing, we all fail. You do not have to like or agree with the organizers of the strike to sign up for it and push it out, because they're aligned with you against Trump and Musk and that's enough.) Yes, take part in any other strikes you see, but gather strength for a general strike of over 11 million people, which is the best chance we have at turning this around.

Go call now. Sign up for the General Strike when you're done and tell everyone else you know to sign up (signups have doubled in speed since I found it two days ago).
